AUTUMN FESTIVAL

Saturday, September 24
9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. ( Last admission at 3:30 p.m.)

Meet Michael Tougias, bestselling author of 19 books. Hear tales of his misadventures at his remote Vermont cabin as chronicled in his book There’s A Porcupine In My Outhouse: Misadventures of a Mountain Man Wanna-be. This book won the Independent Publishers Association Award for the “The Best Nature Book of the Year.”  Tougias’ other books include Overboard: A True Bluewater Odyssey of Disaster and Survival and Ten Hours Until Dawn (www.michaeltougias.com). He will sell and sign his books following the program. Enjoy live animal presentations and crafts for children throughout the day at this enjoyable, family festival. Volunteer docents will be on hand with live animals and demonstrations. Lunch will be available for purchase from Longhaul Farm.

Cost: $15/adults, $12/seniors, $10/youth
No charge for Science Center members and children 2 and under
