CELEBRATE BIRDS

In the Celebrate Birds Exhibit visitors see an aviary full of song birds (unable to be released into the wild) and view a wild bird feeding station. Here is the place to learn about the varied adaptations birds have for living in different habitats. Interactive activities allow visitors to understand the challenges of life as a bird. Additionally, visitors find out more about one of Squam Lake’s treasures, the Common Loon, and the factors that threaten this species.
