DO SOMETHING WILD…

SPONSOR A SPECIES!

The animals at Squam Lakes Natural Science Center serve as ambassadors for their species, here for the purpose of teaching about New Hampshire’s natural world.  Each year, we spend over $100,000 to care for our live animal collection.  You can help to provide and care for the animals – for your favorite feathered or furry species – with Sponsor a Species.

You may sponsor a species for yourself, your family, or your company, school, or club. You can even send a sponsorship package as a gift.  It's a unique way to learn about a particular species and help us to care for its live animals

Step 1 - Select a Species
A wild variety of animals available for sponsorship are listed below.  Select one or more and you will be on your way to contributing to their care.

Step 2 - Grow and Learn
Sponsor a Species is an educational experience.  Once you have chosen a species and submitted the form, you will receive a fact sheet with information about your species, a natural history word game, and a photograph.  You will also be satisfied knowing that you are helping the Science Center teach thousands of people about wildlife.  You or the person you honor will be recognized on a poster in the Trailhead Gallery from May 1 through November 1.  The following list are the species you can sponsor:

Black Bear White-tailed Deer River Otter
Northern Saw-whet Owl Bald Eagle Red Fox
Beaver Mountain Lion Striped Skunk
Coyote Bobcat Great Horned Owl

Step 3 - Click here for a form to print. Return completed form and payment to: Squam Lakes Natural Science Center, P.O. Box 173, Holderness, NH  03245
