KIRKWOOD GARDENS

Beautiful Kirkwood Gardens is available for your wedding or special event, mid-June through mid-October, after 4:00 p.m.
Kirkwood Gardens, on the grounds of the historic Holderness Inn, includes both sunny and shady garden beds complete with granite steps, curving paths, benches, and fountains to delight your guests. A wide variety of flowering trees and shrubs, perennials, ferns, and annuals that thrive in our northern New England climate were selected to attract bees, butterflies, and birds.

The shaded upper garden, with its 25’X60’bluestone patio is the ideal location for your tent to accommodate up to 125 guests.

The lower garden is perfect for cocktails and strolling. The pergola and bench under the old apple tree offer delightful settings for your photographs.

Fee for the use of Kirkwood Gardens is $1,000. An additional refundable $200 security deposit is required. The fee includes:

• Use of the gardens
  
• Parking
  
• Rest room facilities in the Red Barn
  
• Electricity
  
• SLNSC staff member on site during function
